Terms of Service

The contract for using Runny.sh. You paste scripts. We store the exact bytes and serve them over HTTPS. You decide what runs on your machines.

01

The service

Runny.sh hosts operator scripts and serves the exact bytes you saved over HTTPS. We never execute your code. A typical fetch looks like curl -fsSL https://runny.sh/r/{slug} | bash. That pipeline runs on your machine, under your account, with your credentials.

Public scripts are scanned on save and rate-limited on fetch. Private scripts need a fetch token. Unlisted scripts use an unguessable slug and are not listed in public indexes we control. None of that makes curl | bash safe. Review the preview page before you run anything.

By creating an account or fetching the service you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

02

Accounts

You must provide a working email address and keep the password (and authenticator, if enabled) under your control. You are responsible for activity on the account, including scripts, tokens, team invites, and fetches made with your URLs.

We may suspend or terminate an account that hosts abuse, ignores these terms, or presents a threat to other users. Operator (admin) access is a separate console and may require MFA.

03

Acceptable use

Do not host scripts that steal credentials, install malware, attack systems you do not own, evade detection in order to harm others, or otherwise break the law. Do not use Runny.sh to phish, spam, or operate a botnet. Do not probe our scanner to smuggle those payloads.

We may quarantine a raw URL, refuse a fetch, remove a script, or suspend an account when we believe this policy is violated — including after a report at /abuse or abuse@runny.sh. A clean scan is not permission. You remain responsible for the bytes.

04

Plans and billing

New accounts start on Free: 10 public scripts, 100 executions per day (3,000 / month), 24-hour expiry, 256 KB max. Expired Free scripts can be renewed from the script page.

Pro is $6 per month. It includes unlimited scripts and executions, private and unlisted visibility, custom expiry, analytics, and API access. It does not include creating a team. Teams is $10 per month and includes everything in Pro plus creating shared workspaces. Extra team seats are $6 per seat per month and grant personal Pro while the member stays on the team. Collaborators who pay their own bill do not consume a seat. Adopt moves an existing self-paid Pro onto the team bill; personal scripts stay personal.

Paid plans are billed by Stripe in advance, monthly, until you cancel. Cancel from Settings through the Stripe customer portal. Access continues through the paid period. Complimentary Pro grants from Ops are not a Stripe subscription and can be revoked.

Fees are for a digital hosting service delivered as soon as the subscription is active. We do not refund unused time when you cancel, except where a law in your jurisdiction requires it. Chargebacks may result in suspension. Prices may change; we will charge the new rate on the following renewal after we post it.

05

Your scripts

You keep whatever rights you already have in the scripts you paste. You grant Runny.sh a license to store, scan, transmit, and display those bytes so we can operate the product — including serving /r/{slug} to anyone who fetches a public or unlisted URL, or anyone who holds a private fetch token.

Do not paste material you are not allowed to host. We do not claim ownership of your code. Tracking wrappers are injected only at serve time and do not change the stored revision until you save a new one.

06

Risk and liability

The service is provided as is. Hosting, scanning, and analytics can fail. A raw URL can leak. A client can run a script you did not intend. You accept that risk.

To the extent the law allows, Runny.sh is not liable for lost scripts, lost profits, compromised machines, or damages that follow from fetching or executing hosted bytes. If a court nevertheless finds us liable, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.

07

Changes

We may change the product and these terms. Continued use after we post an update is acceptance of the new terms. The date at the top is the current version. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any paid plan.
